All course options are designed to teach you how to prepare tax returns under the supervision of a registered tax agent. Each week combines online theory modules with in-class practical workshops, helping you build knowledge through structured elearning and apply it using real-world tax scenarios in a supportive environment.
Course delivery options:- Standard Instructor-Led In-Class: 3-hour weekly workshops + home study for 12 weeks (starting mid-February 2026)

Top graduates from any Instructor-Led course may be invited to interview for employment with H&R Block. Ideal candidates have strong availability during tax season (July–October) and demonstrate excellent numerical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Note: Self-Paced graduates are not eligible for employment opportunities.

Yes. You’ll receive a certificate at the end of the course, detailing topics and time spent attending workshops. You must track workshop and self-study hours per your accounting body’s requirements.

Our online classes are delivered on WEBEX. Instructions to setup up WEBEX for students registered into online classes will be shared by us, before the first workshop.

Study time varies by course format:
- 12-week Instructor-Led course: Expect around 6 hours of home study per week.
- 7-week Instructor-Led course: Plan for approximately 12 hours of home study per week.
- Self-Paced course: Allocate 10–12 hours per module to stay on track and complete the course successfully.

Yes. If you're enrolled in an Instructor-Led course, attending weekly practical workshops is a core part of the program—they're designed to help you apply the theory in a hands-on setting.
Self-Paced students receive access in late February and must complete training by 15 June 2026. -
All students must have:
- A laptop or similar device
- Reliable home internet
- In-Class students: Portable Wi-Fi or hotspot for workshops
- Online students: Microphone, speakers, and preferably a webcam

You’ll receive an LMS setup email within 72 business hours of registration. Complete setup within 5 days. The first module will be available immediately; others will be released closer to the course start.

Yes. Each registration must include the attending student’s personal details. Employers paying for staff can request a business-name receipt by contacting us directly.

Yes. The full fee is deductible to the registered student on their 2026 tax return.
